PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-distortion linearizer in which distortion can be compensated through very simple circuitry. SOLUTION: The linearizer 1 comprises a distributor 11 connected with the post-stage of a main amplifier AMP and distributing the output signal from the main amplifier AMP accompanied by a distorted signal, a first path 13 and a second path 14 for transmitting distributed output signals, respectively, and a synthesizer 12 for synthesizing the signals on the first path 13 and the second path 14. Path lengths of the first path 13 and the second path 14 are set such that only the distortion signals in the signals on the first path 13 and the second path 14 are synthesized in reverse phase by the synthesizer 12. Since only the distortion signals are synthesized in reverse phase, a signal from which only the distortion signal is removed is output from the synthesizer 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
