PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage collecting vehicle which achieves smooth garbage loading work by appropriately making up for a shortage of driving force and suitably controlling engine rotation speed so as to increase driving force in an emergency. SOLUTION: A garbage collecting vehicle which supplies hydraulic fluid through the medium of a loading hydraulic circuit 60 to drive a garbage loading device by picking up a part of power of an engine 20 by a PTO device 40 and driving an oil pump 50, is equipped with an engine accelerating device 80 for low pressure which accelerates engine 20 rotation speed during garbage loading from rotation speed in idling to a first rotation speed and with an engine accelerating device 90 for high pressure which accelerates engine 20 rotation speed during garbage loading to the second rotation speed higher than the first rotation speed when hydraulic value of the loading hydraulic circuit 60 detected by a pressure switch 62 is prescribed value or higher.
