PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manhole lid frame replacing construction method for suppressing a scope of construction to the minimum extent, dispensing with a rolling compaction process, reducing/shortening a construction process and a construction term, and solving a problem of pollution by vibration and noise when performing scheduled manhole lid frame replacing construction work. SOLUTION: This manhole lid frame replacing construction method comprises a pavement cutting process for turning a spherical face-like cutter along the outward of the outer periphery of a manhole lid to provide a spherical face-like cut-in section, a cut piece forming process for forming a lid receiving frame between the cut-in section formed in the preceding process and the lid receiving frame for receiving the lid and a cut piece like a pseudo-circular ring of a pavement material, a removing process for removing the cut piece obtained in the preceding process, an anchor bolt installation process for installing an anchor bolt on an upper face of a lower basin to adjust height of the manhole lid receiving frame, a lid receiving frame mounting process for mounting new lid receiving frame through the anchor bolt in the preceding process, and a material filling process for filling a roadbed material into a space formed by removing the cut piece.
