PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor panel capable of enhancing the body rigidity and the ride quality in an automobile employing a center tank layout. SOLUTION: A cross member 20 is installed on a floor panel 1 at a part forward of right and left transverse floor tunnels 8, 9. Substantially U-shaped cutouts 7a, 7b are formed in right and left side faces of a longitudinal floor tunnel 7 at a mounting part of the cross member 20. A center bracket 22 of the cross member 20 is spot-welded to the longitudinal floor tunnel 7 so that a member body 21 is fitted in the cutouts 7a, 7b (i.e., the member body pierces the longitudinal floor tunnel 7).
