PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device for a windscreen elevating/sinking device equipped with stopper function without giving a rigidity particularly to a constituent member such as a guide rail, in which a drum driven by a reduction gear is locked directly to enable generating a stop (lock) without causing the member to enlarge and without being influenced by deceleration, capable of suppressing a large load input due to restraint to a cable (inner), pulley, etc. and suppressing a rise of the cost without causing the member to enlarge. SOLUTION: A groove 50 with two ends blocked is formed at the undersurface of of the drum 30 driven by the reduction gear. A recess 51 is formed in a base bracket 11 positioned below the drum 30, and in this recess 51 a stopper lever 52 is installed rotatably whose projection 53 is fitted loosely in the groove 50. When the drum 30 rotates to cause the end of the groove 50 to abut to the projection 53 on the stopper lever 52, the drum 30 is locked. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
