PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound useful as a curing promoter exhibiting excellent fluidity, reflow crack resistance and high-temperature aging resistance and excellent curabililty even during moisture absorption and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The new compound is represented by general formula (I) (R<SP>1</SP>s are each independently a hydrogen atom or a 1-18C substituted or nonsubstituted hydrocarbon group and two or more R<SP>1</SP>s may be mutually bonded to form a cyclic structure; R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>are each independently a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group or a 1-18C substituted or nonsubstituted organic group and R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>may be the same or different and two or more R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>may be mutually bonded to form a cyclic structure; YH is a 0-18C organic group having one or more releasable protons (H+) and may be mutually bonded to one or more R<SP>2</SP>s to form a cyclic ring; m is an integer of 1-4; n is a number of ≥0).
