The method involves broadcasting a signal to a mesh point by another mesh point, to establish communication. A response signal is transmitted to the latter mesh point, and the former mesh point is authenticated, while a master mesh point is determined. Communication is established with the former mesh point, where the response signal transmitted by the former mesh point includes authentication credentials relating to the former mesh point.
