<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an amount of packaging materials used while minimizing the number and size of packaging boxes in transportation of an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: When the whole apparatus is packed and transported, the need of packaging a process unit 12 separately from the apparatus main frame is eliminated and packaging of the whole apparatus is made possible with the required minimum boxes, for example, by reversely inserting and attaching the process unit 12 to a temporary fixing position inside the apparatus main frame 10 and temporarily storing the process unit 12 inside the apparatus main frame 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
