<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless IC tag which has radiation shielding effect and has less reduction in antenna gain. <P>SOLUTION: In a wireless IC tag 10 whereon an IC 12 is integrally mounted with a miniaturized antenna 40, a radiation shielding material 22 covers an IC (IC chip) alone. Therefore, the area of the miniaturized antenna 40 covered with the radiation shielding material 22 is extremely small, thus minimizing reduction in antenna gain of the miniaturized antenna 40 constituting the wireless IC tag 10.
