<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maximumly educe performance of a multifunction system having a main CPU and a sub CPU by automatically performing PDL processing share optimum in speed of the sub CPU according to the speed of the post-attached sub CPU. <P>SOLUTION: In this multifunction system allowing achievement of PDL printing by communication between a main controller part and a sub controller part in the main controller part including the main CPU and the sub controller part including the sub CPU, speed of the main CPU and the speed of the sub CPU are automatically detected, and a sharing method of processing of the main controller part and the sub controller part is automatically changed in the case that the speed of the sub CPU is faster than the speed of the main CPU and in the case that the speed of the sub CPU is slower than the speed of the main CPU. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
