<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for a multi-band high-frequency module having superior isolation characteristics, and to provide a control method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The multi-band high-frequency module performs radio communication among a plurality of communication systems and has a branching filter which branches a high-frequency side signal and a low-frequency side signal to its reception-side circuit portion and transmission-side circuit portion, and a high-frequency amplifying circuit is connected to a high-frequency side output portion of its reception-side branching filter. The high-frequency amplifying circuit is mounted without overlapping its transmission-side branching filter formed in a ceramic laminate when viewed from the top surface of the ceramic laminate. The high-frequency amplifying circuit is placed in an ON state when the multi-band high-frequency module receives the high-frequency side signal, in an OFF state when the high-frequency side signal is transmitted, and in the OFF state when the low-frequency side signal is received. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
