<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core deviation measuring apparatus which enables the selection of a bat that can make the ball hitting position approach its core position or the correction of the ball hitting form of a hitter by measuring a difference between the ball hitting position and the core position of the bat in the actual hitting of the ball with the bat. <P>SOLUTION: The core deviation measuring apparatus measures the degree of deviation from the core between the core position 1 of the ball hitting bat B and the hitting position 2 of the ball K caused by the bat B. The apparatus is provided with a high-speed camera 5 which photographs the way of hitting the ball K with the bat B and an arithmetic means 6 which determines a distance d as the difference between the core position 1 of the bat B and the hitting position 2 of the ball K based on the images from the high-speed camera 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
