<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio tag communication apparatus and a radio tag communication system in which an efficient cooperation is performed as much as possible without generating a communication superposition. <P>SOLUTION: The system includes a position relation decision unit 74 which determines the relative positional relation of a plurality of radio tag communication apparatuses 12, and a transmission controller 76 which controls the transmission of a transmission signal from each radio tag communication apparatus 12 depending on the decision result by the unit 74. Accordingly, a sufficient time interval can be provided for transmitting the transmission signal by the radio tag communication apparatus 12 adjascent mutually.
