<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purifying apparatus (10) which is capable of sufficiently treating air to be treated containing a hydrophobic odor component (S1) and suppressing the enlargement and cost increase of the apparatus (10). <P>SOLUTION: The air purification apparatus (10) which treats the air to be treated containing the hydrophobic odor component (S1) is provided with a streamer discharge part (20) to change the odor component (S1) to a state of hydrophilicity and an odor scavenging part (scrubber part (40)) which is arranged at the lower stream side of the stream direction of the air to be treated to the streamer discharge part (20) and which dissolves the odor component (S2) changed to a state of hydrophilicity in water to scavenge, at the streamer discharge part (20). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
