PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber structure capable of retaining excellent water-repelling and oil-repelling properties even if repeated washing is carried out 100 times and to provide a method for producing the fiber structure. SOLUTION: A treating agent containing a fluorine-based water-repelling and oil-repelling agent, a compound having an isocyanate group or a blocked isocyanate group and a silane coupling agent is attached to the fiber structure. The method for producing the fiber structure comprises treating a base fabric with a treating liquid containing a fluorine-based water-repelling and oil-repelling agent, a compound having an isocyanate group or a blocked isocyanate group and a silane coupling agent and then heat-treating the treated base fabric.
