PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily reproduce video and audio when a user changes channels. SOLUTION: When the user changes channels by operating a GUI, a digital broadcast receiving device equipped with a 1st demodulator 5 and a 2nd demodulator 6 receiving a television broadcast signal acquires a channel number at the position of a cursor CS on the GUI, one of the demodulators previously start reception of the acquired channel number and decodes video and audio data (8, 11).
