摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric vibrator which conducts a frequency adjustment on a face of a piezoelectric vibration plate accurately and effectively and has good characteristics. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric vibration plate 1 consists of an AT cut crystal vibrator having a rectangular flat shape and rectangular excitation electrode membranes 11 and 12 are formed on faces of its both sides. A resonance characteristic confirming means for confirming presence or absence of a harmful spurious vibration to a main vibration from the resonance characteristic of the piezoelectric vibrator is executed. An addition and a subtraction of the excitation electrode membrane are conducted to either right or left area of the excitation electrode membrane which becomes the adjusting object, and a first adjustment trying means is executed for confirming a fluctuation state of the spurious vibration of the resonance characteristic. As a result of the adjustment trying means, it is judged that the adjustment to either right or left area of the excitation electrode membrane is needed, an adjustment area is decided, a partial vapor deposition is conducted, and a spurious vibration adjusting means is executed.
