PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct setting operations only for a target LED display device in an easy and simple manner for a user. SOLUTION: When a setting key 21 is depressed at a remote controller 2 in order to conduct setting such as changing the display of an LED display device 1, a control section 24 recognizes a key signal, code information such as a password is read from a storage section 26 as a setting start, the code information is converted into a transmission code at a signal light emission driving section 25 and a password code is transmitted to the LED display device 1. On the other hand, at the LED display device 1 side, a signal light receiving section 11 receives the code signal from the remote controller 2 side, a control section 12 conducts a signal receiving process and a code analysis process and determines whether the received code is coincident with the stored code being stored in a storage section 13 or not. When these codes coincides with each other, a change process signal from the remote controller 2 side is accepted and the system enters into a setting process mode in which a setting change is conducted for an LED driving section 14 or the like.
