SOLUTION: A pixel 116 provided so as to correspond to an intersection of a scan line 311 and a pair of a first data line 211 and a second data line 212 includes; a pixel capacitance 118 including a pixel electrode 234 and a common electrode 111 which faces the pixel electrode; a TFD 220 which becomes a conductive state when a selection voltage is applied to a corresponding scan line and writes into the pixel capacitance 118 a voltage which is based on difference between a selection voltage and a voltage of data signal supplied to the first data line 211; a first hold capacitance 215 for electrically capacitively coupling between the first data line 211 and the pixel electrode 234; and a second hold capacitance 216 for electrically capacitively coupling between the second data line 212 and the pixel electrode 234. A data signal of a voltage according to a gray scale of the pixel located in a selected scan line is supplied to the first data line 211 and an inverted data signal in which the data signal is inverted with reference to a potential Vc is supplied to the second data line 212.
