PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which suppresses a decrease in light emission efficiency of an LED and in which a light source body of the LED can stably be fixed. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises a liquid crystal display panel 1, a back light which is arranged outside the liquid crystal display panel 1 and equipped with a light guide plate and the light source body arranged on an end surface of the light guide plate, and exterior members 6 and 10 housing the above. A heat conducting elastic sheet 9 is fixed on an LED unit 7 constituting the light source body and a top-side main surface of a mounted mount substrate 8, which is fixed across a heat-conductive adhesive 17 on the reverse-side main surface.
