PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container transferring device capable of restricting a variation of transferring position of a container in a filling machine and capable of performing a stable transferring showing a less amount of variation in position of the container with respect to each of the locations (sections) at each process. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a plurality of container holders 2 held by an endless oval-shaped annular guide 1 in such a way that they can be slid and moved along the guide so as to fit and hold barrels of containers C equally spaced apart in one line in a close adjacent relation, and a plurality of container supporting plates 4 held by a rectangular annular guide 3 in such a way that they can be slid and moved along the guide 3 constituted of an upper linear guide and lower linear guide in parallel with the upper horizontal guide portion of the annular guide 1 and vertical guides at their both ends, equally spaced apart in one line at the linear guide portion in a close adjacent relation to hold the bottom part of the container C from below in an opposite parallel relation below each of the adjoining container holders 2 arranged adjacent to the upper horizontal guide portions of the annular guide 1.
