PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage machine capable of providing a great massage effect for the shoulder part or the like of a person to be treated. SOLUTION: The massage machine performs massage by arranging a treating body in a backrest part so as to be elevated and lowered and to be moved back and forth and allowing the treating body 7 to advance forward from the backrest part to a first advance limit position L1 within the vertical movable range of the treating body 7 set in the backrest part, wherein the massage is performed by permitting the forward advance of the treating body 7 to a second advance limit position L2 set forward from the first advance limit position L1 in a special treatment area provided within the vertical movable range of the treating body 7.
