<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original film for a lithographic printing plate which can form an image without executing alkali development after the exposure with laser and is excellent in any of fine line reproducibility, plate wear resistance, difficulty to stain, on-press developability and preservation stability, and a method for lithographic printing using the original film for the lithographic printing plate. <P>SOLUTION: The original film for the lithographic printing plate is a lithographic printing plate having in order an undercoat layer and a laser-sensitive photopolymerizable layer on a hydrophilic support, capable of forming an image without executing alkali development, and including a polyurethane resin in the undercoat layer. The method for the lithographic printing includes the on-press developability using the original film for the lithographic printing plate.
