<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for preventing deterioration of a catalyst layer for achieving a PEFC maintaining excellent power generating property for a long period. <P>SOLUTION: A buffer layer 150 restraining deterioration of carbon carrier apt to be generated at neighboring area of a boundary between a cathode (air electrode) catalyst layer 110 and a solid polymer electrolyte film 100 and elution of catalyst from the cathode catalyst layer into the solid polymer electrolyte film, is formed between the cathode catalyst layer 110 and the solid polymer electrolyte film 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
