<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical plug socket which allows a coated optical fiber therein to be easily and surely stored and is capable of improving work efficiency at the time of installation and can be miniaturized. <P>SOLUTION: An optical plug socket A is exposed and attached to a wall surface of a building or is installed within a panel board and includes a box main body 1', an optical fiber tray 2 stored within a front opening of the box body 1', an inner cover 3' covering not only the optical fiber tray 2 but also openings of the box main body 1' throughout, and a surface cover 4 which is engaged with the inner cover 3' and covers the box main body 1' and the entire inner cover 3'. Fixing portions 17 for fixing an optical fiber jack 16 are provided on both sides of a lower end of the optical fiber tray 2, and a grasping member 10 for grasping an indoor cable 51 of optical fibers is stored at the center of a lower end of the box main body 1'. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
