<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a discount service such as short-section use discount or connection discount while preventing an illicit action such as changing IC cards, for taking a uniform charging form. <P>SOLUTION: This toll collection system comprises an antenna device 42a as an information acquisition means which is set in a toll gate through which a vehicle enters and leaves a toll road, and acquires a toll gate number previously used, a currently used card ID, and a card ID before insertion or drawing preliminarily stored in an on-vehicle unit 6 from the on-vehicle unit 6 mounted on the vehicle; a toll table 30 storing discount object toll gate numbers based on each toll gate (own tool gate) of the toll road; and a lane control device 41 charging a discount amount as a toll when the previously used toll gate number acquired from the on-vehicle unit 6 is matched to the discount object toll gate number stored in the toll table 30, and the currently used card ID acquired from the on-vehicle unit 6 is matched to the card ID before insertion and drawing preliminarily stored in the on-vehicle unit 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
