PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording/playback device with hard disk which transfer a music file to an MP3 player without using a personal computer, etc. and charges a battery of the MP3 player when the MP3 player is connected. SOLUTION: The recording/playback device is constituted so that it may be connected by the MP3 player and a USB 9 including a signal line L1 and a power source line L2, has a CPU 3 which transfers the music file to the MP3 player B by the signal line L1 and has constitution in which the battery 26 of the MP3 player B can be charged by the power source line L2. Consequently, the music file can be transferred to the MP3 player B without using the personal computer, etc. In addition, when the MP3 player B is connected, the battery 26 can be charged.
