PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching regulator for generating a boosting voltage as well as a reversed voltage stably by switching one coil. SOLUTION: A switching means for short-circuiting both ends of a coil is provided, and when a boosting voltage generating operation and a reversed voltage generating operation are switched, a current of the coil becomes zero under control thereof in the switching regulator.
