PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical analysis apparatus, including a mechanism enabling stirring and mixing of a sample and a reagent in a short time, and to efficiently stir materials to be stirred with saved power. SOLUTION: In this chemical analysis apparatus, a sample as an analysis object and a reagent are injected into a reaction vessel 102, and sound waves are applied to the reaction vessel 102 to stir the materials. The apparatus includes a piezoelectric element for generating sound waves and a driving driver 504 for driving the piezoelectric element, where the sound waves are intermittently applied into the reaction vessel 102.
