EMBRITTLEMENT TREATMENT APPARATUS AND EMBRITTLEMENT TREATMENT METHOD FOR POROUS MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embrittlement treatment apparatus capable of realizing the shortening of a treatment time with a small number of steps and performing protection of a high-pressure instrument, and an embrittlement treatment method. SOLUTION: The embrittlement treatment apparatus comprises a high-pressure vessel 1 capable of increasing/decreasing the pressure and a cartridge 2 which encapsulates a porous material such as concrete pieces 10 for filling the high-pressure vessel 1 with water 11. The cartridge 2 raises the pressure in the high-pressure vessel 1 and thereafter quickly reduces the pressure in the high-pressure vessel 1 to an approximately atmospheric pressure using the expandable/contractable embrittlement treatment apparatus having a water-shielding property.
