PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MRI apparatus which holds high time resolution in an animation image and can perform body motion correction in addition. SOLUTION: In the MRI apparatus equipped with a metering controlling means which meters echo signals in one or more regions from a subject by dividing k space into two or more sectors 21, 22 and 23 and repeatedly performing a predetermined PAL sequence and an image reconstructing means for reconstructing images 51, 52,... by using the echo signals in the one or more metered sectors whenever the echo signals in the one or more metered sectors are metered, the metering controlling means meters the echo signals comprising body motion information on the subject for each metering of the regions and the image reconstructing means corrects the influence of the body motion of the subject in the image by using the echo signal comprising the body motion information on the subject for each image.
