PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a launching spring to always be placed under a released state even when the launching motion is stopped under a state in which the spring for urging a launching lever is not released. SOLUTION: This game ball launching device is equipped with an AND circuit 20 which outputs a launching condition signal when a predetermined permissive condition is satisfied, a motor driving circuit 12 which rotary drives a motor 10 according to the launching condition signal, the launching lever which launches a game ball which is fed to a launching position, and a cam. In this case, the cam is engaged with the launching lever, and is rotated by the motor to turn the launching lever to a position where the engagement is disengaged by resisting the urging force of the spring, and the spring is released. The game ball launching device is also equipped with an OR circuit 22 which rotary drives the motor until the spring is placed under the released state if the spring is under a non-released state at the point when the output of the launching condition signal is stopped.
