<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To house a stack in a casing to make a fuel cell stack lightweight and compact and surely seal the casing from the outside. <P>SOLUTION: The casing 24 is equipped with end plates 20a, 20b and side panels 60a-60d. The side panels 60a-60d are equipped with plate parts 64a-64d and connection parts 66a-66d installed at corners of the plate parts 64a-64d. First seal members 70a, 70b are interposed between the mating surfaces of end plates 20a, 20b and both end parts of the side panels 60a-60d. Second seal members 72a, 72b are interposed between the mating surfaces of the plate parts 64a-64d and the connecting parts 66a-66d, and a locking projection part 78 preventing the deformation of the second seal members 72a, 72b is installed in the vicinity of the end part coming in contact with the first seal members 70a, 70b in the second seal members 72a, 72b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
