<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer driver capable of performing marginless printing, which automatically rotates a paper sheet if the paper sheet has a height equal to or larger than the width of a paper sheet capable of being subjected to marginless printing and picks up the rotated paper sheet having the height matching the marginless-printing allowable width, thereby further increasing the choice of a user. <P>SOLUTION: The printer driver has the original size matrix and roll paper width matrix of a target model. When the marginless printing is designated, the paper sheet size whose width or height meets the marginless-printing allowable width, is picked up from the original size matrix, and defined as the paper sheet size to be returned to an application. After the performance of the marginless printing, it is determined whether the width or height of the designated paper sheet size meets the marginless-printing allowable width.
