<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intaglio which has a film having a small thickness by micron or below and having a high plate wear resistance without using hexavalent chromium in its manufacturing process. <P>SOLUTION: The intaglio has at least one component layer on an intaglio base wherein cells being recesses of the minimum unit for holding ink are formed in conformity with a plate image.
