NEW PLASMID AUTONOMOUSLY REPLICABLE IN MICROORGANISM BELONGING TO FAMILY ENTEROBACTERIACEAE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasmid useful for breeding and improving a microorganism belonging to the family Enterobacteriaceae.

SOLUTION: The plasmid comprises a gene derived from a microorganism selected from the group consisting of a bacterium of the genus Pantoea, a bacterium of the genus Erwinia and a bacterium of the genus Enterobacter and encoding an Rep protein having an amino acid sequence composed of a specific sequence or an amino acid sequence having ≥70% homology to the amino acid sequence. The plasmid can be used to carry out transformation of the microorganism belonging to the family Enterobacteriaceae.
