ANTIREFLECTION FILM, POLARIZING PLATE AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection film which is capable of keeping the reflectance low and is excellent in scratch resistance after durability (moisture and heat resistance) test, and to provide a polarizing plate and an image display device using such an antireflection film.

SOLUTION: In the antireflection film, a transparent substrate, a hard coat layer and a low refractive index layer having a refractive index lower than that of the transparent substrate are laminated in the order, and the low refractive index layer includes at least one kind of inorganic fine particles. Therein, a change of color tone of positive reflection light at incident angle 40° of CIE standard light source D65between before rubbing a surface of the side on which the low refractive index layer is laminated by using a nonwoven fabric after the moisture and heat resistance test and after reciprocal rubbing of 200 times while applying a load of 19.6 N/cm2presents a color difference ΔE*ab value in CIE1976L*a*b*color space of <1.
