<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original plate for lithographic printing for CTP which is sensitive to the light in a near infrared region and can be handled in a bright room, enables the drawing of an image can direct by a laser light, makes it possible to dispense with development and a wiping operation, improves remarkably the hydrophilicity of a non-image area and is excellent in printability. <P>SOLUTION: In the original plate for lithographic printing which has a hydrophilic resin layer on a substrate directly or with a ground layer interlaid, the hydrophilic resin layer comprises (a) a hydrophilic polymer, (b) a crosslinking agent, (c) a hydrophobic polymer, (d) a photothermal conversion material and (e) a water-soluble carbonate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
