<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogel wound dressing constituted of a support body layer which prevents the intrusion of bacteria or the like from the outside and a hydrogel layer with water absorptivity and strength, and to provide the wound dressing excellent in dimension stability for details further. <P>SOLUTION: For the wound dressing, the hydrogel layer formed by bridging a polyethylene oxide copolymer having a primary hydroxyl group in a side chain and the support body of water vapor permeability lower than that of the hydrogel, such as a sheet or a film, are combined.
