<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piping material with a protective layer and its construction method capable of easily performing installation work of piping and capable of exhibiting excellent heat insulating performance and noise insulating performance. <P>SOLUTION: In the piping material 11 with the protective layer, an outer periphery of a pipe body 12 is covered by a protecting member 13 exhibiting expansible and shrinkable properties, an outer periphery of the protecting member 13 is compressed by a cover body 14, and the pipe body is covered in such a state that the volume of the protecting member 13 is reduced. A tear-up thread 15 for tearing up the cover body 14 may be inserted into the cover body 14 along the length direction. Further, a cutting line such as perforations may be provided instead of the tear-up thread 15. When the cover body 14 is torn off after installation, the protecting member 13 is restored, the pipe body 12 is protected from the variation, and the heat insulating performance and the noise insulating performance can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
