PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning system capable of limiting total energy usage by a plurality of air conditioners to be less than upper limit energy usage available by air conditioners as a whole without additionally mounting a demand device for limiting the energy usage. SOLUTION: When the plurality of air conditioners 0 (a, b and c) are operated, the upper limit energy usage of the connected air conditioners as a whole is set in all of connected outdoor machine control devices 2 (a, b and c), each of the outdoor unit control devices 2 (a, b and c) monitors communication data of the other air conditioners to grasp the energy usage of the air conditioners as a whole, and the air conditioners of longer continuous operation time are successively allowed to stop for a prescribed time and then restart when the grasped energy usage becomes more than the upper limit energy usage, so that the energy usage of the entire air conditioner is limited to be less than the upper limit energy usage.
