<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts and the size and weight of a differential type dry pipe valve for a fire protection sprinkler system. <P>SOLUTION: This differential type dry pipe valve 10 for the fire protection sprinkler system is so formed that the ratio of an effective air sealing area to an irrigation sealing area is smaller than the ratio of an irrigation pressure to a system air pressure for operating the fire protection sprinkler system. Also, an air valve seat is so formed that its center is positioned apart a specified distance from a rotating shaft in a first radial direction and a water valve seat is positioned apart a specified distance from the rotating shaft in a second radial direction, and the distance in the first radial direction is larger than that in the second radial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
