VITRIFIED IMAGING PLATE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging plate highly sensitive to X-rays andγ-rays that contains Pb (lead) having a large absorption cross-section area for X-rays orγ-rays as a component material element. SOLUTION: Stimulable phosphor BaFX:Eu2+(X:I(iodine), Br(bromine), Cl(chlorine)) powder and lead glass powder are mixed and applied to a substrate, then is sintered within the temperature range of 450°C to 650°C, and is vitrified to form the imaging plate highly sensitive to X-rays andγ-rays.
