PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively check a conduit pipe over a long distance, which is used for conveying fluid in a cave passage. SOLUTION: A checking system is provided, comprising the conduit pipe 2 disposed for conveying the fluid into the cave passage 1; a rail 5 disposed along with the conduit pipe 2; a traveling vehicle 10 which travels along the rail 5; a sensor 20 which is mounted on the traveling vehicle 10 and collects data of the inside of the cave passage 1; a power supply (e.g. , battery 40) which supplies electric power to a motor, causing the traveling vehicle 10 to travel; a plurality of signal transmission devices 30, which are disposed along with the rail 5 and conduct wireless communication with the sensor 20; and an operation control device 50 which is disposed on the ground and transmits/receives signals to/from the signal transmission devices 30.
