PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fence allowing an erection member to be mounted at an optional angle other than 90°or 180°using posts of approximately rectangular cross section. SOLUTION: In this fence 1, one erection member 9 has one fixture 5a fixed to a side end of a post, and the other erection member 11 has the other fixture 5b fixed to a side end of the post. The post 3 has approximately rectangular cross section and has a mounting groove 17 at the approximately center in the lateral direction of each side face. A mounting pedestal 7 has an internal corner part 19 and an outer side face 21. The internal corner part 19 swallows from a corner side position rather than the mounting groove 17 of one side face of the post 3 into a position over the mounting groove 17 of the adjacent side face, and the outer side face 21 is located on the outer peripheral side of the post rather than the internal corner part 19 and formed in approximately circular arc shape around a vertical axis.
