PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which is arranged so that a circuit board may not hinder display of an opening part for display. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is provided with: a liquid crystal panel 2 and a liquid crystal shutter 3 arranged in order between a front face frame 1 and one face of a resin frame 8; a light transmission plate 4 and a reflection sheet 5 arranged in order between the other face of the resin plate 8 and a fixed plate 7; first and second lamp sets 6a and 6b arranged on opposing side end faces of the light transmission plate 4; and an outer frame 9 arranged behind the fixed plate 7. The light transmission plate 4, the reflection sheet 5, the fixed plate 7 and the outer frame 9 are respectively provided with opening parts 13, 14 and 16 for display so as to look a displayed object arranged behind the outer frame 9 from the front face side of the liquid crystal panel 2, and a first circuit board 22 is provided on the circuit board supporting plate 26 provided vertically on the back face side of the peripheral part of the outer frame 9.
