PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collecting apparatus capable of effectively decreasing foaming and collecting water paint mist in the case of spray coating using water paint. SOLUTION: In the collecting apparatus (29) for collecting the water paint, a 1st flow passage (15) through which a gas containing the water paint mist (9a) and 1st booth water (12) flow and a 1st recovery vessel (17) for recovering the 1st booth water (12) passed through the 1st flow passage (15) are arranged, wherein at least one bending part (15a) is provided in the 1st flow passage (15) and the 1st booth water (12) flows with the gas through the bending part (15a) while forming a liquid film covering the inside wall surface of the 1st flow passage (15).
