<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly carry a recording material P, when opening a tray in an image forming apparatus 20 constituted for performing face-up and face-down loading. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus 20 has carrier roller pairs 6 for carrying the recording paper P after forming an image, delivery roller pairs 7 and 8 for carrying the recording paper P for delivery on the downstream side of the carrier roller pairs 6, a delivery tray 9 for loading the recording paper P delivered from the delivery roller pairs 7 and 8, a carrying passage 16 for passing the recording paper P carried to the delivery roller pairs 7 and 8, and a delivery tray 11 for loading the recording paper P carried from the carrier roller pairs 6 in a state of guiding and opening the recording paper P to and in the carrying passage 16 in a closed state with an openable-closable constitution; and is characterized in that a shutter member 12 is arranged for shielding an inlet of the carrying passage 16, and a shutter part 12a of the shutter member 12 retreats from the inlet of the carrying passage 16 in a state of closing the delivery tray 11, and the inlet of the carrying passage 16 is shielded in a state of opening the delivery tray 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
