<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize operation and stop of a train by eliminating unnecessary obstacle detection in a mobile platform fence system. <P>SOLUTION: This mobile platform fence system comprises a mobile platform fence 1 installed to a platform with a platform door 12 and obstacle detection means 13, and a platform fence control device 14 controlling the action of the mobile platform fence 1. When car stopping information indicating that a car 4 stops at a car stopping position and a platform door opening command for opening the platform door 12 exist simultaneously, the platform fence control device 14 is set to validate obstacle detection information as outputs from the obstacle detection means 13.
