PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine packaging apparatus equipped with a manually spreading device by which the inside of recess sections is easy to observe when being pulled out by improving the manually spreading device for the medicine packaging apparatus. SOLUTION: A manually spreading section 3 is provided at a section being immediately below a medicine shelf section 8 while being on the front surface side of a main body section. A manually spreading member 23 is held by a supporting frame 26, and is arranged in an insertion port 20. When the manually spreading device 22 is used, a traveling member 51 is made to travel toward the insertion port 20. Since the majority of the track surface 41 of a traveling track 25 is horizontal, the supporting frame 26 moves to the insertion port 20 side while keeping the horizontal posture. When the traveling member 51 moves further, the majority of the supporting frame 26 is exposed from the insertion port 20. In this case, since the end side (the insertion port 20 side) of the traveling track 25 tilts downward, the touch-down position of a roll is lowered, and the supporting frame 26 is placed into a tilted posture.
